Overview
Paddle boarding Missoula MT is at it’s best with Zoo Town Surfers. Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is a rapidly growing segment of the paddlesports industry and you will know why once you give it a try for yourself. It’s fun, relaxing, and is a great “core” and balance workout. Paddle boarding can turn a local Class I/II section of river into a new, fresh, and challenging adventure. No experience is necessary but you will get wet. Feeling comfortable swimming in moving water and the ability to self-rescue are a plus.
You can stand-up paddle board on rivers, oceans, and lakes – any open body of water. SUP-ing is a great way to see the river from a different perspective. It’s super fun, challenging, and a great core workout. As with whitewater kayaking, we recommend that you learn basic techniques and skills before you head to moving water. Our guides will show you how to stand, paddle, and navigate the river safely. ZTS offers SUP adventures on the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers.
